A Review

Towards a Community Governance Review for Edingthorpe

Parish Finance

Would breaking away from Bacton, mean paying more Council Tax?

The potential financial implications of Edingthorpe breaking away from Bacton are considered.

2025/26 Parish Precept Council Tax data is presented, to demonstrate that North Norfolk’s smallest, rural parishes are NOT the most expensive places to live, in terms of Parish Precept.

Statutory parish meetings enable each and every elector of the parish to have a say – and a vote – as to what activities get carried out in the parish, and how much – if any – Parish Precept should be levied upon villagers’ Council Tax bills.
